Downloads, bundles and free gifts
The simplest things to sell: a file people download, several products together for one price, or a free gift in exchange for an email to grow your list.
The three types
- Download: PDFs, templates, ebooks, audio, video, ZIP files, Office documents, ePub… The buyer gets a link by email and finds it again any time in "My purchases".
- Bundle: two or more of your products (downloads and/or courses) together at one price. Buyers get everything inside it.
- Free gift for email (a lead magnet): free, in exchange for an email address. Whoever takes it becomes a contact, so it's the easiest way to grow your list from your bio.
Creating one
- Go to Store > Products. Under "New product", pick the type, give it a title and press "Create product".
- Fill in the description (what's included, who it's for, what they get out of it) and add a cover image.
- Set the price and the currency. A "Compare-at price" is optional: it shows crossed out next to the real price and must be higher than it.
- Upload the files (downloads and free gifts) or tick the products the bundle includes.
- Press Publish. Then add it to your page with a Product block (Store > Page).
Each product has its own address, bio.ignix.social/your-name/product-name, which you can also share on its own.
Files and limits
Files are stored privately: nobody can download them without buying, and the download links expire, so a forwarded link stops working. Each file can be up to 4 GB. Store storage depends on your plan: 50 GB on Blaze, 100 GB on Scale and 250 GB on Inferno, separate from your media library. If you run out, delete files or move up a plan.
What it needs before you can publish
If something is missing, the product tells you what under "To publish it you still need to":
- Your page created (Store > Page).
- For anything paid: Stripe connected (Store > Payments), your seller details filled in (name and email) and a price of at least 0.50.
- For downloads and free gifts: at least one file. For a bundle: at least two products.
A free gift needs no Stripe and no price.
Coupons
In Store > Coupons you create discount codes: a percentage (1 to 100) or a fixed amount, with an optional expiry date, a maximum number of uses and, if you want, only for some products (tick none and it works for all of them). Buyers type it on the product page under "Have a discount code?". Codes are also created in your Stripe account, so you see them in your Stripe dashboard. A code that has been used can't be deleted, only disabled.
Offers: order bump and upsell
In each paid product, under "Offers", you can offer another paid product (in the same currency) at a special price:
- Order bump: an "Add this too…" checkbox right before paying, charged in the same payment.
- Upsell: an offer on the thank-you page after the purchase, with a quick second payment.
Helping people decide
- Testimonials: what your customers told you, with their name. They show on the product page right above the buy button. Use real feedback only.
- Units for sale: if you set a number, the page shows "Only N left!" and the product sells out at zero.
- Refund policy: shown next to the buy button. See "Orders, refunds and buyers".
Members-only content
A product can be part of a bundle or a membership without being sold on its own: leave it unpublished and include it. In the list it shows as "Included only", and only buyers of the bundle or members get it.
Deleting a product
If it has never sold, it's deleted. If it has sold, it's archived instead: it disappears from your page and buyers keep their access.
