Managing your agency's clients

Where: My Accounts (link for your client) and Teams > Members & roles (client access).

If you run social media for other businesses, set up one workspace per client. Each workspace has its own accounts, posts, automations and brand, kept apart from the rest.

1. Create a workspace for each client

  1. Go to Teams > Workspaces (or tap the + next to the workspace switcher).
  2. Name it after the client, for example "Marta's Salon".
  3. Pick that workspace in the switcher before you work on it.

The Instagram or TikTok belongs to your client, so they are the one who signs in. They don't need an Ignix account, and they don't have to give you their password.

  1. With the client's workspace selected, go to My Accounts.
  2. Under "Do the accounts belong to your client?", type who it's for and click Create link.
  3. Copy the link and send it by WhatsApp or email. For security it's only shown once.
  4. Your client opens it, picks their network, signs in on the network's own page and grants access.
  5. The account shows up in My Accounts, inside that client's workspace.

The link only lets them connect accounts to that workspace: it doesn't show posts, messages or any data. It expires after 7 days, and you can revoke it sooner from My Accounts. Your client can connect several networks with the same link. Each connected account takes one slot of your plan.

If you work with Claude or another assistant connected to Ignix, ask it for "a link so my client can connect their accounts" and it will give you one.

3. If you want your client to review and approve

Invite them with client access, so they only see their own brand.

  1. Go to Teams > Members & roles.
  2. Enter their email and choose the Approver role (reviews and approves) or Viewer (only looks).
  3. Under "Which brands they see", choose "Only these workspaces" and tick theirs.
  4. Send the invitation and share the link with them.

With client access they only see the calendar, approvals, analytics and accounts of their brands. They can't see your other clients, the inbox, contacts, your team, billing or settings. They can't connect Claude or other AI apps to your account either.

Turn on "Require approval before publishing" in Teams > Members & roles if nothing should go out without their sign-off.

Inviting someone takes a team seat: from the Scale plan (up to 3), unlimited on Inferno. The link to connect accounts doesn't take a seat and is on every plan.
